Section 1300 Leadership Committee Meeting
5:45 P.M. - Tuesday, August 31
Johns Manville Corp - JMTC 10100 W. Ute Street, Littleton, CO 80127
JMTC is southwest of C470 and Kipling. Visitor parking is indicated on the map. Meeting attendees will have to check in at the guard house. The guard house closes at 6:00 and no one will be able to let late comers in (still trying to work this out.) Leadership committee member's names will be submitted to the guard house. General ASQ members may have to have our contact, Dennis Murray paged to get access but this won't be a problem if they mention they are with ASQ the guard should know to page Dennis. The menu will probably be sandwiches; although, this could change.

Dr. Andy Rodriguez
Dr. Andy Rodriguez, Ph.D., PMP is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Ph.D. in Business Organization & Management with a specialization in Leadership from Capella University. Dr. Rodriguez has a solid understanding of business operations, P/L, enterprise program management office (EPMO) and has developed training materials for global project management operations. With strengths in Mergers & Acquisition processes, process reengineering, strategic and tactical planning, and cost containment, Dr. Rodriguez is constantly looking for ways to improve operational performance and the bottom line.
Dr. Rodriguez is also a business owner of STAR, LLC (an IT/Computer Networking & Project Management company) and STAR Systems Inc.dba SMTC (Schooley Mitchell Telecommunication Consultants). He has 30 years extensive background in the Oil & Gas industry with nineteen of those years in corporate operations with emphasis on project planning and management. Dr. Rodriguez has experience building strategic plans and executing them through portfolio, program and project management processes.
Dr. Rodriguez' topic is focused on “ What Quality Professionals Should Know about Project Management ” to help solidify or secure their role as a quality professional. Most quality professionals have a good idea of what project management entails, but they may not be aware of the traditional or standardized method using project management templates, tools and techniques for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing the project. Dr. Rodriguez believes to compete in today's business industry you really need to sell yourself as a quality professional with repeatable, effective and efficient Project Management processes and skills that will positively impact customer expectations.
