There are more than 250 volunteer-run ASQ sections in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Colorado, itself, has four active ASQ sections, which conduct numerous activities carried on statewide by consortiums of members from the five basic sections. The ASQ presence in Colorado also includes t he Colorado Performance Excellence Award (CPEx) orgainzation.
If you are interested in getting involved in ASQ Denver, we offer many chances to participate and get involved. These include but are not limited to the following:
- The ASQ Denver Executive Committee, which always needs volunteers
- The ASQ Denver Education Committee
- The ASQ Denver newsletter and website committee
- The ASQ Denver Program Committee
- Certification and preparatory programs
All of these offer chances to enhance your leadership skills, increase your visibility in the quality community, and network with other professionals in the Colorado Quality Community.
How do I get started?
The best way to get a look at what ASQ Denver is all about is by contacting our officers and volunteers or by attending an ASQ Denver Leadership Committee Meeting. Meetings are generally held the first Wednesday of each month, August through June, but you can check our calendar for exact dates. ASQ members who attend ASQ Denver Executive Committee meetings receive a free meal and a chance to meet the committee members and find out what's going on in Section 1300. From there, the sky is the limit. Hope to see you there.
