All Section 1300 leadership decisions are guided by the following doucments. Perhaps the basic source doucment is the ASQ Code of Ethics, which influences ethical concerns in all the other documents.

The Section Operating Agreement (SOA) is our basic organizational document. It defines our organization, its objectives, government, leadership, officers, elections, fianancial considerations, reporting and review requirements, meetings and activities, subsections, student branches, and task groups; and even section dissolution, if such should become necessary.

The Section Policies and Procedures are sort of an extension of the SOA and goes into more detail on section leadership, committees, and meetings.

The final section governance document is the Section 1300 E-mail Policy, which sets out ethical treatment of section E-mail priviledges with respect to Section membership and preservation of membership rights to privacy.
